Her passion for literacy began at home, reading with her own children and watching how stories sparked their imagination, confidence, and curiosity. That passion inspired her to write the Sir Ralph King of Kildare children book series. What began as a sweet memoir honoring a beloved pup grew into something so much bigger.

As she began sharing Ralphie's stories and visiting schools for read alouds, Nicole witnessed firsthand the incredible impact of sharing the joy of reading and writing. Her passion grew into a calling.

A calling that sparked the creation of Hello Little Sunshine, a baby book with a built in tool guide to encourage families to begin reading to their babies from the very beginning.

Today, through the Ralphie Reads Foundation Nicole is honored to partner with schools, families, and her community to promote early literacy, inspire the joy of reading, and empower young writers.
